CANOPY WALK WAY EXPERIENCE

Hey guys!! Just so you know I am a member of WOMEN IMPACTING NIGERIA and am proud to be one. so, I want to share my experience at Lekki conservative center with WIN . The experience was one of a kind, it’s a (WAWU) like, it’s so full of fun, it was really an amazing experience. I learnt a lot and I saw a lot, I saw monkeys in fact one of those monkeys collected my gala (lols) I threw it to the monkey though, (I can’t fight abeg) not even with a monkey. You want to know how it happened, don’t worry I will share it with you guys.

I was coming from the catering when I saw this monkey coming, my thought was maybe it’s just going around or something all I could remember is someone telling me to keep my gala but before I could even realize what was happening I saw this monkey, guys I had to throw the gala away ( no struggles) a guy was even saying I shouldn’t have thrown but (abeg I don throw am I no want monkey wahala). So, guys now to what I learnt.

Canopy walk way: This Is my first time doing this things in fact  I got to know this when I was registering for this event, I don’t know what it feels like, I don’t know what it looks like, but all I wanted was to have fun and I really did, I was with the aim of let me see how it looks and feels like with no idea whatsoever, I think I started getting familiar with what am was about doing when the guy in charge was lecturing us about it, at that point guys I was already contemplating either to go or not, my dears don’t let me bore you with my stories, I finally went (OMG) its seven stages,(WAOH)  it we walked for 20 minute before getting to the canopy walk way, and on the canopy (OMG) I was freaking out, we were shared into groups, six in each groups, my group members are super amazing they added (jara)  to the fun no doubt, we are the craziest, the precious singers in fact we were all in all thanks to WIN.

Overcoming fears of height: Guys I’ve always being so scared of height, but I think I overcame it today even if it’s not finally but at least to some extent. When we got to the 4^th stage (the highest) I knew God is a miracle worker, as in I was taller than a palm tree, (what a wawu)  we were closer to the sun, like seriously I can feel the heat, at some point the breeze was blowing the canopy, it scares the living out of me (as in) a lot of things was just running through my mind like (Seun who send you) and the most interesting part is once you start my dear you must finish (no turning back).

Word of encouragement: During the walk way, when we got to some certain stage where I started speaking to myself, well it’s fun but at the same time I learnt somethings , at that point I was so scared everyone was focused, no one was looking back or down everyone was just focused so no one wants to talk to anyone, we are all talking to ourselves, I got myself saying things like ( seun you can do this, nothing is gonna happen, just be focused, keep moving) these things caught me, I got to understand that at some point in our lives when everything seems not to be going as planned or as structured and no one is paying attention you don’t need to blame anyone for it, besides everyone is also trying to sought things out with themselves too, you need to speak to yourself, give yourself that words of encouragement, no one can do it expect you. You understand yourself better, you know you more than anyone else, no one knows YOU like YOU. You need to encourage yourself do not allow anything weigh you down, you have the best motivational speeches that suit the kind of “YOU” just stand up and work through it and trust me you will be fine.

Mingling with people: This has always been one of my challenges, am just trying to get through it, I find it so hard to mingle with people, well that was one of my reasons for joining WIN and I really achieved that today, like I said earlier my group was so amazing, funny ladies, beautiful ones at that, you guys are amazing (joor). lot of love.

LCC was cool today with WIN, if you have not been to LCC I think you need to go there and make sure you do the canopy walk way(lols nothing will happen joor). And if you have been there share your experience in the comment section. Cheers!!!
